Responsibilities:
- Develop intuitive, usable, and engaging flows and visual designs for mobile apps
- Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant
- Seek out creative, design-led solutions to challenging problems
- Collaborate with other designers and developers to oversee the user experience of new features and products from conception until launch
- High level creative strategy and vision, not just ‘how it should look’ but ‘what we should build
- Provide strategic thinking and leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design process
- Participate in the development process from definition, through design, build, test, release, and maintenance
- Stay abreast of UI/UX trends and look for creative ideas and inspiration in parallel analogous worlds
- Research and track advancements in mobile application design patterns
- Break any design problem down into viable actionable chunks and solve them with clarity and precision
- Present and defend design solutions to stakeholders explaining the why behind design decisions
