Overview

Telecom Foundation is looking for an experienced Senior IT Manager who will establish and maintain world class IT policies and systems, including driving of digital transformation and IT development, within the foundation. Responsibilities
• Establish and manage an IT development team within the foundation with a view
to providing IT based solutions to businesses
• Development of state of the art IT based solutions for external and internal business
demands
• Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve, develop and update software
and systems
• Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the
organization
• Designing training programs and workshops for staff
• Conducting regular system audits
• Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
• Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system
updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
• Running regular checks on network and data security
• Managing and reporting on allocation of IT budget
• Providing direction for IT team members
• Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communications skills
• Extremely self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to work
independently as well as part of a team
Requirements
• Age Limit: 30-45 years
• Proven 8 or more years working experience in the relevant field
• Experience with networking and security
• Strong computer skills needed to research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify
solutions to issues
• Fluency in programming languages
• Ability to focus and follow-through to resolution of issues
• Experience building and mentoring an IT department within an emerging biotech
environment preferred
• Excellent interpersonal, team management skills, communication and
presentation skills
• Master or higher degree in IT / Computer Science / Software Engineering related
qualification from a local or foreign HEC recognized University.
