About The Department In Sales, in close collaboration with other internal stakeholders, we are responsible for generating product revenue in line with the Novo Nordisk Way. We build effective relationships and build synergies that support Novo Nordisk’s solutions for customers. We strive to achieve ambitious goals in line with Novo Nordisk’s strategy and are accountable for results, whether individual or team. We focus on strengthening Novo Nordisk’s leadership in all product areas. We are located in Karachi, office of more than 260 engaged people all supporting our affiliate with challenges related to sales, Marketing, Medical, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, HR, Finance, IT and Legal. The sales department consists of 80% of the organization and have diverse professionals helping the patients and the Health Care Practitioner. The Position You are responsible to prepare sales strategies and setting objectives for assigned territory, to achieve challenging ambitious sales targets in consonance with corporate objectives, to make regular and periodic visits to all customers as listed for the assigned sales territory, to submit regular required reports on the activities conducted joint calls and competitors activities as specified, to handle direct sales of our products not distributed by our distributors, to assist in organizing product training programmes for field personnel of our distributors in cooperation with other functions, to build consolidate and further strengthen our rapport with customers including health professionals, patients, and public bodies, to ensure that all promotional activities and transactions reflect and are in consonance with Novo Nordisk Way, collect and collate market information and competitor intelligence, responsible for sales promotion of NN products to customers/hospital/pharmacies, to represent NN vision, values and commitments in daily contacts with customers. You may also be responsible for duties which may be required from time to time.You will be reporting to the Sales Manager and will be based in Rawalpindi. Qualifications A minimum of 2 years’ experience of Pharmaceutical Sales/ Marketing experience. Local region market knowledge will be additive advantage. Graduate/Bachelor’s degree preferably in Pharmacy/ Life Science. The position requires a person who has strong communication skills. You need to be proficient in English, Urdu and your expertise in local languages would be an advantage. The position requires a person who is to a high degree self-driven with a desire to influence.
