About The Role
The purpose of the Safety & Security Executive is to take ownership of physical security measures, drive safety programs and support our aim of making Careem the safest form of vehicular transport throughout our network for our colleagues, captains, and customers. This role will report to the Director of Safety & Security with a strong dotted line to the local General Manager. Key responsibilities include:
Safety and Security for 3Cs, i.e. Captains/Customers/Colleagues.
Incident Management as per organisation policies.
24/7, ground support to Customers/Captains in emergency cases.
Provision of support to colleagues on call/on ground.
Travel management for expats within sound and discrete structure across the nation.
Safety and Security events management, i.e. training/workshops for captains / colleagues in collaboration with government entities.
Provision of security stunts execution on ground or inbound for all the departments activities.
Sound technical abilities for in bound applications usage.
Maintenance of log sheets, IM data etc for every task through inbound system softwares.
Weekly/bi weekly and monthly reports of executions/tasks performance in black and white to HoD.
Directly reporting to HoD and inabsence to senior safety and security lead, Pakistan.
Safety and Security Operations for Careem Offices/Colleagues/Assets.
Management of Security Guards deputed all over Pakistan
Management of Security Officers for operations and tasks execution.
Provision of on an ground support to security officers throughout any task.
Development and maintenance of strong relationships with organisation departments.

At least 3+ years of experience in a law enforcement, military or intelligence environment
Excellent communicator with competency in spoken and written English and Urdu
Should be the native of Pakistan with strong command over regional context and local languages
Able to work alone as well as part of a team
Experience in investigations and/or anti-fraud is highly desired
Project management experience would be a distinct advantage
Experience within operations and safety is desired
Educated to undergraduate level or equivalent
Strong links and resources inside LEAs institutes and Govt offices for timely execution of tasks.
Must have strong communication and soft skills.
