Overview

Main Purpose:
Analyze planning, pricing and costing data in the marketing area of the given business units in Retail, BtB and wholesale segments; monitor international and domestic prices of petroleum products and provide timely information to the marketing and planning management team for effective decision making, implementation of development strategies and action plans. Coordination with the local refineries for procurement of product and maintenance of supply transactions in the ERP system.

Pricing Strategy
Monitoring of sales of petroleum products
Maintenance of database of customers’ price.
Develop and implement a price strategy for each customer segment.
Participate in multi-functional projects provide guidance in this area of expertise.
Share best practices with other price analysts in the company (if applicable).

Pricing Execution
Pricing of all Puma products and segments – Retail fuels, B2B & Lubricant.
Ensure pricing strategy, tools, component-wise pricing of all segments and systems provide clear guidance to sales teams.
Ensure that all pricing condition is implemented with complete accuracy.
Generate pricing reports with timely and accurate information.
Ensure that all ERP pricing setup and rebate programs are implemented accurately.
Coordination with the CSC Department to resolve the customer complaint regarding Invoicing disputes like (Debit & credit note verified, Tax and Indent rate).
Generate timely and accurate data for IFEM.
Provide pricing structure to logistic and finance for cartage working.
Discounted price needs to be updated in the system as per SOP.
Ensure all the pricing components are mapped to correct GL account as advised by finance. Manage relationship with Sales, providing guidance, coaching, bridging interfaces and communicate best practices.

Product Purchases.
Support in the procurement of petroleum products from the local refineries.
Interact with the finance team to arrange to finance for purchases.
Provide weekly cash flow estimates based on the expected purchases for the forthcoming 30 days.
Consolidate stock report daily and review inventory levels to ensure sufficient availability of supply relative to the sales demand.

System Administration of Purchases and Product Movement (Fuel & Lube).
Raise NAV Purchase Orders (PO) after each price change.
Perform transfer orders for the movement of stock in NAV.
Generate Purchase Orders imported product and raise import customs duty clearance request with finance.
Create system Purchase Order against PFI provided by Lube’s team and corresponding lube Transfer Orders.

External Reporting.
Manage the timely submission of all daily and monthly reporting of inventory and sales figures for all products to the government regulatory bodies.

SPR Management
Update Stock Progression Report (SPR) and identify discrepancies in data.
Liaise with the Sales team for sales demand/forecast and with the Supply & Commercial team for expected allocation from the refineries.

Fortnight Closing Activities
Verify all fuel purchase invoices against systems receipts and identify any errors. Work with Operations and Stock Accountant to post-transfer order reversals and purchase credit memos for incorrect entries.

Experience:

Undergraduate University Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, International Business or other similar fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position or relevant role.
Experienced in sales and price allocation an advantage.

Skills:

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Advanced handling of Excel and PowerPoint.
Knowledge and experience in managing the Navision system.
Knowledge and experience in ISM (Information System Management).
Bilingual: proficiency in English and other (Spanish)
