Job Title: Director Foods Business Location: Faisalabad/Lahore, Pakistan Rafhan Maize Products Co. Ltd. (an affiliate of Ingredion Incorporated, USA) is looking to hire Director Foods Business, a senior leadership role which reports into CEO Rafhan Maize Products. The role requires strong matrix alignment and networking with functional teams of EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa). The person will be responsible to define and execute the strategy to generate business growth for Company’s food ingredients portfolio. The role is focused to deliver aggressive business plans both for its core/basic starches & sweeteners and developing new specialized ingredients & applications to create better value for the customers. The individual should have the vision to look forward and stay ahead of market trends, with strong customer intimacy; and ability to proactively respond to changing customer needs in order to create shared value and enhanced customer experience. The incumbent must also demonstrate strong leadership skills with focus towards team’s capability building, talent development, coaching and mentoring. We are an equal opportunity employer. Females are encouraged to apply As Director Foods Business, You Will Be Responsible For Strategy and Planning Lead the development and execution of commercial, strategic and operating agenda to drive business growth and profitability. Plan and develop strategic road map for new business development to progress transformation from non-differentiated portfolio to differentiated & value-added specialties. Review market trends and develop competitive data to formulate strategies that deliver desired objectives. Go-To-Market Execution Drive Go-To-Market (GTM) execution for business development and achievement of sales objectives while supervising needed technical and customer service support for the business. Build strong relationship with customers & distributors based on mutual business interests. Organize to ensure effectiveness of GTM team and different channels fully aligned to overall customer and business needs. Drive New Business Development, Innovation and Specialties Agenda Create value by driving specialties and innovation promise agenda for the business and deliver short- and long-term specialties growth. Develop business opportunities to sell to new customers with existing & new product portfolio in line with country and corporate strategy. Guide & lead the segment and application teams, to continuously monitor, review and adapt service offerings according to customer requirements. Drive Sales and Commercial Excellence Build strategic partnership with key customers and initiate programs to create shared value for strategic customers. Progress sales, commercial excellence and sales capability building initiatives aligned to regional/ corporate programs. Leadership and Talent Management Drive strong business performance and effectively define individual accountability, rewards performance and support employee development and growth. Provide inspirational leadership and maintain team motivation to ensure goal alignment, understanding and commitment to delivering business objectives. Improve team performance and proactively identify high potential talent to drive their disciplined development and to execute their retention programs. Relationship and Networking Understand and use the internal matrix locally and globally within Ingredion to get the best support for projects and customers while developing new ideas, concepts and products with the team. Develop strong contacts within the organization and network with customers & external collaborative partners to build positive relationships within the industry stakeholders. This position is well-suited for you if you have: Strong leadership traits with excellent interpersonal skills to develop team and deliver sustainable business results in challenging conditions. Passionate and energetic attitude with commercial acumen and hands-on experience to manage wide range of customers base. Strong strategic and analytical thinking with an ability to transform that to executable plans. Ability to think and act out of box for understanding of situations and creating competitive edge solutions. Ability to adapt to changing environment with experience of effectively leading change management initiatives. Excellent negotiation skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. High level of integrity and ability to demonstrate open and honest communication with the team. You are eligible to apply if you have: A Master’s Degree in Food Sciences or Business Administration. Minimum 15 years’ experience in Sales or Marketing – Preferably in B2B Industry with good understanding on food products and ingredients. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Leadership role with a National or Multinational Foods Organization.
