A market leader in Pakistan with a nationwide footprint and a turnover of over a trillion rupees, seeks to appoint an experienced Brand Manager with demonstrated hands-on experience in brand management, commercial planning, marketing and advertising theory, and financial and budget management The Brand Manager will be managing Marketing Planning and Activation across our client’s business Reporting to the Head of Brand Department, this position will be responsible for building plans to achieve intended results by gaining alignment of internal stakeholders and execution through cross-functional collaboration The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, preferably has retail experience, should have managed a budget of at least PKR 200 million, and can apply a strategic but pragmatic approach to elevate the company’s marketing plans. Key Responsibilities Assist in envisioning long-term brand strategy and architecture in line with the company’s vision. Take full ownership of the assigned category/product lines by leading the brand development strategy & plan including budget responsibility, revenue growth management strategy, research and insights generation, future category opportunities and integrated marketing communication activation. Accountable for the development of the commercial plan against the assigned business portfolio by fully understanding broad business priorities, integrating them with consumer insights and mindset to develop relevant impactful and effective marketing plans. Efficiently manage relationships and executions with external agencies (eg, PR, shopper marketing, advertising. graphic design, research agencies, etc.), delivering required output while minimizing costs. Identify brand marketing channels that can become future sources of growth and develop brand communication strategy and create integrated plans (collaboration with agencies, public relations, ATL, BTL, digital and offline creation), Continuously evaluate and adjust marketing plans to meet changing market and competitive conditions as well as add new opportunities aligned to customer needs.
Education, Skills & Experience Degree in Business Administration (Minimum 16 years of education i.e. 4-year Bachelor’s Degree) with majors in Marketing from HEC recognized institutes or an equivalent foreign degree. At least 7-8 years professional experience with a minimum of 4-6 years’ related experience in a middle management position
The candidate should not be more than 40 years of age as of the last date of the submission of application.
Significant experience in developing strategies, marketing plans and the execution of campaigns (previous samples of work like TVCs, digital campaigns, other communication etc., to be included in the application) Strong collaborator, capable of influencing with a track record of building cross-functional relationships, negotiating with peers and creating alignment. Demonstrate a strategic mind from a business, creative, planning and targeting standpoint. Highly organized and reliable with proven ability to meet tight deadlines while being attentive to details The incumbent shall possess creative and critical thinking, problem-solving, leadership, decision-making, and analytical skills
